Quo Vadis & Friends: King’s Caviar
Wednesday 19th February, 7:00pm

Some matches were made in heaven. Romeo and Juliet, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas… There is one gastronomic marriage that deserves to be placed in that same pantheon, and that is caviar and vodka. The creaminess of the caviar the yin to vodka’s crisp, dry yang.

We thought it was high time we laid on a supper to indulge our (and your) cravings for this finest of pairings. Caviar with everything! And vodka for the requisite ‘Nostrovia’. For the caviar, we turned to none other than the Queen of caviar herself, Laura King MBE. Graced with a royal warrant no less, King’s caviar sources the finest farmed caviar from around the world. When it came to selecting a vodka to pair with the caviar, we chose our favourite British, sustainable, pour – Respirited. This vodka will be stirred into vodka martinis, as a welcome drink, served neat alongside blinis, and even incorporated into pudding…

Jeremy has designed a menu that serenades the caviar like a lover’s sonnet. Blinis with all the requisite accoutrements will commence the meal, and we will leave it to you, dear ones, to choose whether you would prefer to order Oscietra or Beluga, and how much you intend to consume. A jellied beetroot consommé will be served with Sevruga and Acquitaine will elevate a dish of lemon sole paired with a Jerusalem artichoke, potato and salsify purée. The lightest of lemon syllabubs laced with Respirited vodka will be the proverbial icing on the cake.

Tickets are £85 per head and will include a Respirited vodka martini on arrival and a serving of Respirited vodka.

Caviar to be paired with the blinis to be ordered separately in advance, choose from either Beluga at £24 for 10g or Oscietra at £7 for 10g (we recommend an order of 30g+). To order, please email ruby.smith@hartsgroup.co.uk
