Quo Vadis in Conversation with Dan Saladino

Author, journalist and broadcaster Dan Saladino will join QV’s own Crispin Somerville to discuss his new book, Eating to Extinction, on Tuesday 1st November. Winner of the Wainwright Prize 2022 – this captivating book explores stories of wild and endangered foods through the people and the land they come from, and the traditions and cultural identities they represent.

​​Featuring nearly 40 stories (from almost as many countries), ranging from wild African honey and Andean tubers, to salt preserved fish and eastern Anatolian wheat, this is an astonishing journey through the past, present and future of food.

​Dan and Crispin will discuss those he met on his extraordinary travels, the communities fighting for change and much more besides.
