Progeny of culinary royalty Fergus and Margot Henderson, Hector has proven that the apple hasn’t fallen fall from the tree, taking the reigns as Head Chef of Rochelle Canteen with aplomb.

Casting our gaze back to when Hector was a bonny lad, he could be found in these very halls, honing his craft under the tutelage of Jeremy Lee. To celebrate the happy reunion, Hector has pulled out all the stops, partnering with Celeste Doig to create a special menu for the evening, which brings together Hector’s British culinary background and Celeste’s passion for the food and flavours of Trinidad.

The results of their plotting look enticing indeed, and we look forward to mopping up curry duck with buss up shot roti, steeling ourselves for the heat of scotch bonnet sauce, and trying a twist on a classic St Emilion, made with Trinidadian chocolate and plenty of rum.
